Oh boy, you're diving into the deep end of the pool! The rarest Pokemon card is often considered to be the Pikachu Illustrator card. Only a handful were ever distributed, making it insanely rare. Last I checked, one sold for over $5 million at auction. So, if you're thinking about snagging one, better start saving those pennies!

Honestly, it depends on which rare card you're talking about, but if you mean THE rarest, like Pikachu Illustrator, we're talking millions. Not something you find in your average pack!

I own a pretty rare card, not the Pikachu Illustrator sadly, but from firsthand experience, I can tell you the market is wild. Prices can soar into the thousands for less rare cards than the Illustrator. Always check the latest auctions for the current going rates.

It's just a card, guys. Can't be that expensive, right? Wrong. We're potentially talking about paying as much as a luxury car or even a house for a piece of cardboard. Only in the Pokemon world!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
