I've gotta say, the Pikachu Illustrator card. It's kinda like the unicorn of Pokemon cards - you hear about it, but you'll probably never see it.

Hands down, the rarest Pokemon card to pull is the Pikachu Illustrator card. This card was given only to winners of a comic contest in Japan back in the '90s, making it super rare and highly sought after by collectors. Only a few dozens are known to exist worldwide!
Well, if we're talking technically, then yeah, the Pikachu Illustrator card is the rarest. But don't forget about the shiny Charizard from the Base Set. That card is like the holy grail for a lot of collectors and also incredibly hard to pull from a pack. Good luck finding either without breaking the bank though!
