The rarity symbol on Pokemon cards is usually found at the bottom right corner of the card. Common cards have a black circle, uncommon cards sport a black diamond, and rare cards show a black star. And for those extra special cards, you'll find unique symbols like a white star for ultra rare cards, or a shiny holographic star for secret rare cards. So, next time you're flipping through your deck, give that corner a peek to see what treasures you've got!

Honestly, most of the time it's the shiny ones that catch my eye, but then I learned those symbols actually mean something. Found out a card I had since I was a kid was super rare because of that little star in the corner. Best. Day. Ever.

Just check the bottom corner, dude. Circle = common. Diamond = not so common. Star = you're getting somewhere special. And if it's shiny or weird, you've hit the jackpot.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
