What is the Steam Refund Policy?
AgeingJetty·7 months agoNope, it's not that generous. You can't just play a game for 10 hours, decide you hate it and then get a refund. Less than 2 hours of gameplay and within two weeks of purchase, or no deal.

Steam will basically give you your money back for any reason, but only if you've played the game for less than 2 hours and it's within 14 days of purchase. It's like a “try before you really buy” kinda deal.
Steam's refund policy is pretty cool, actually. You can request a refund for nearly any purchase on Steam—for any reason. Maybe your PC doesn't meet the hardware requirements, or maybe you bought a game by mistake, or you just didn't like the game. The catch? You have to make the refund request within 14 days of purchase, and you must have played the game for less than 2 hours. Also, it doesn't apply to some third-party DLC, movies, and games purchased outside of Steam.
