What is the story of Sonic Mania?
Sonic Mania's story picks up after Sonic 3 & Knuckles, with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles facing off against Dr. Eggman and his new Hard-Boiled Heavies. The trio discovers a mysterious gem called the Phantom Ruby, which Eggman and his robots are after to harness its power. Fast-paced platforming action ensues as our heroes chase Eggman through classic and new levels to stop his evil plans!
