Subnautica's story kicks off when your spaceship, the Aurora, crashes on the alien ocean planet 4546B. You're left to survive in the watery depths, uncover the mystery behind the planet's quarantine, and find a way to escape the planet. Along the way, you discover the remnants of an ancient alien race and must craft, build, and explore to piece together the full narrative.
