The weakness on a Pokemon card indicates the type of attack that can do extra damage to that Pokemon. For example, if a card has a weakness to fire, then fire attacks will deal double damage (or sometimes more, depending on the card). It's a key part of the game's strategy, kinda like rock-paper-scissors but with way cooler monsters!

Just check the bottom left corner of the Pokemon card. If you see a symbol there, that's the weakness! Fire burns Grass, Water douses Fire... you get the idea. It's super simple once you look.

Honestly, the weakness part of a Pokemon card is what makes battles exciting. It鈥檚 all about matchups. A strategic play can turn the tide by exploiting these weaknesses, so always pay attention to them!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
