NBA 2K18 takes the cake for the worst. The pay-to-win model and aggressive microtransactions were just too much.

NBA 2K21 on current-gen was a huge letdown. The gameplay felt clunky, and the MyCareer story was meh at best.

All the NBA 2K games are great in their own way, but if I had to pick, probably 2K18. VC grind and microtransactions ruined it.

Honestly, it's NBA 2K9 for me. It was just too buggy and lacked the polish of later games.
