I was in the same boat just an hour ago. Turned off my router, turned it back on, and BAM! Problem solved.

It could be a temporary outage鈥擬icrosoft sometimes has server issues. Check the [Xbox Live Status page](https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status) for updates!
