The Hot Wheels you'll wanna look out for if you're thinking $$$ are often the rare ones, like limited editions or those with production errors. Think Treasure Hunts, Super Treasure Hunts, and anything from the Redline era (1968-1977). Also, any Hot Wheels that were promotional exclusives or part of small production runs can fetch a pretty penny. Keep an eye out for models with unusual colors or variations not typical to the mass-produced ones.

Honestly, just look for anything that looks old and weird. Some of those oddballs are surprisingly valuable.

Most Hot Wheels aren鈥檛 gonna make you rich. Just enjoy collecting them for fun, not as an investment.

It鈥檚 not just about rarity, but condition and packaging matter too. I found a '68 Over Chrome Mustang in mint condition at a garage sale, and it turned out to be worth hundreds!

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
