No official word on the exact lb, but expect something in the high-quality range. I've printed proxies on 310gsm cardstock and they felt almost indistinguishable from the real deal. Experiment a bit if you're into making custom cards or just curious.

Pokemon TCG cards feel premium 'cause they actually use a specific type of cardstock that's not commonly disclosed. But if you're looking to mimic the feel for custom cards, aiming for something around 300gsm should get you pretty close. That's the sweet spot for durability and that nice, snappy feeling when you shuffle.

Honestly, does the exact lb matter? As long as the card feels good and doesn't bend or tear easily, it's all good. Focus on the game, not the grams!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
