A good Commander in MTG is like the perfect pizza topping - subjective but there are some fan favorites. Firstly, a unique and powerful ability that defines your game plan is key. It should allow for numerous strategies and synergies with the rest of your deck. Second, the mana cost matters; too high and it might be stuck in your hand for too long. Also, don't forget about the color identity; it determines the colors of cards you can use in your deck, so choose wisely!

A high mana cost isn't always a deal-breaker for a good Commander. Some of the best commanders have a higher mana cost but offer game-ending abilities. It's all about balance and having a strategy to get your commander into play. I've won plenty of games with high-cost commanders because they can turn the tide in an instant.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
