What Makes Some Pokemon Cards Valuable?

A few things make certain Pokemon cards super valuable: rarity, condition, and demand. Cards with limited prints, like first editions or special releases, are harder to find, making them more valuable. The condition of the card is huge too; a pristine, unblemished card is worth way more than one that's seen better days. Lastly, the demand plays a big role. If everyone wants that one card (looking at you, Charizard), its value skyrockets!

It's all about the hype, honestly. Some cards are just popular because they're popular. Yeah, rarity and condition matter, but if a card is in high demand, its price goes up, no matter what.

From personal experience, what's made some of my Pokemon cards valuable isn't just how rare they are, but also the nostalgia factor. Older cards that bring back memories seem to fetch a higher price among collectors.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
