The value of new Hot Wheels can really depend, but limited editions, treasure hunts, and exclusives often top the list. Look out for any models that are produced in small quantities or have unique designs. Recently, models tied to popular franchises or with unusual features have also seen a spike in their collectible value. And don't forget, convention exclusives can be worth a pretty penny too!

It's all about those Treasure Hunts and Super Treasure Hunts. Limited runs = $$$

Honestly, most of them ain't worth more than a few bucks. But if you get lucky with a Treasure Hunt or an exclusive model, then you might have something. I scored a Super Treasure Hunt once in a regular bin at Walmart – felt like winning the lottery!
