You can watch Sword Art Online in release order: start with 'Sword Art Online' (2012) and then move to 'Sword Art Online II' (2014). After that, watch 'Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale' (the movie), and then 'Sword Art Online: Alicization' (2018-2020) and 'Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld' (2019-2020).

Honestly, just start at the beginning and go in release order. Less confusing, more fun!

If you wanna do it chronologically, start with 'Sword Art Online', then 'Sword Art Online: Extra Edition', followed by 'Sword Art Online II'. Continue with 'Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale', then 'Sword Art Online: Alicization', and wrap up with 'Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld'.

If you're a Sword Art Online fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
