Let's not forget about those holographic cards from the Base Set. A first edition holo Machamp or even a Chansey can fetch a pretty penny. Obviously, condition matters a lot, but if you've got one of these in top-notch shape, you're sitting on a goldmine.

I once traded a First Edition Shadowless Charizard for a car. Yes, a car. These cards can be worth that much if you find the right buyer. Always keep them safe and in good condition!

The OG of all valuable cards is the First Edition Shadowless Charizard, especially if it's in mint condition. Basically the crown jewel of Pokemon collecting. Then you've got your First Edition Base Set cards - the likes of Blastoise and Venusaur are pretty high up there too. And don't forget the Pikachu Illustrator card, it's rare and insanely valuable among collectors.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
