Shotguns in Fallout 4 can become super powerful with the right perks. The key perks to focus on are Rifleman, which increases the damage of non-automatic rifles and shotguns, Bloody Mess for that extra damage across the board and a chance to make your enemies explode into a gory red paste, and Gun Nut for upgrading your shotgun to its max potential. Don't forget to aim for those criticals for massive damage!

Rifleman perk, hands down. It not only boosts your damage but makes those shotguns even more deadly at range. Who needs a sniper when you have a shotgun with Rifleman, am I right?

Honestly, just get Gun Nut and mod your shotgun to oblivion. The other perks are nice, but a well-modded shotgun can carry you through the whole game.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
