Lemme keep it simple: got an iPhone? Make sure it's not older than the 6S. Android? You need Marshmallow (6.0) or something newer. If your phone's from the last 5 years, you're probably okay.

Android 6.0 or later and iOS 13.0 or later, but honestly, newer the better. MTG Arena isn鈥檛 super demanding, but you don't want lag during a match because your phone is old.

MTG Arena is optimized for both iOS and Android devices, so if you've got a relatively recent smartphone, you should be good to go! For iOS users, an iPhone 6S or newer running on iOS 13.0 or later works great. Android users need a device with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or newer. Just make sure you have enough storage space for the app and its updates!

Almost any modern phone works, but I tried running it on an old iPhone 5... don鈥檛 do that. It was a disaster. Get yourselves something from this decade, folks.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
