No single Pokemon card has officially sold for 1 million dollars yet, but the closest is the Pikachu Illustrator card. This super rare card has fetched prices of over $900,000 at auctions due to its rarity and the prestige among collectors. It was given to winners of a comic contest in Japan in 1998, and there are only 39 copies believed to exist!

Actually, no Pokemon card has hit the 1 million mark. The Pikachu Illustrator card though, comes close, crossing over $900k. Just a matter of time before one does, with how the market's exploding!

None. Yet. But watch out for the Pikachu Illustrator card. It's the one knocking on that door.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
