Every Pokemon TCG deck needs a solid mix, but no single card is in EVERY deck. You'll always find Basic Pokemon for starting the game, Energy Cards to power your moves, and Trainer Cards for strategic advantage. The specific Pokemon and card types depend on your strategy!

Absolutely need Energy Cards in every deck. Try winning without them; spoiler: you can't.

Not true that any card fits all decks. It's all about the deck's theme and strategy. However, NRG cards are a must. No energy, no attack!

Let's not forget Trainer Cards! They're the unsung heroes that can really turn the tide of a game with their strategic benefits. Plus, every deck kinda designs its lineup around its star Pok茅mon, so there's that.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
