Shadowless Pokemon cards are those early prints from the original base set that don't have a shadow on the right side of the image box. They're pretty easy to spot once you know what you're looking for. They're closer to the first edition cards but less expensive, making them a sweet spot for collectors who want something rare but don't wanna spend a fortune.

Just look for the missing shadow on the right side of the image box. If there's no shadow, congrats, you've got yourself a shadowless card! They're from the early days of Pokemon TCG, so they're kind of like a piece of Pokemon history.

Shadowless cards are overrated. Go for the shiny ones instead!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
