To beat Giovanni, start with a strong Fighting-type like Machamp or Lucario to take down his Persian. For his second Pokémon, which varies, counters like Kyogre for Rhyperior or Giratina for Nidoking work great. Finally, use an Electric-type like Raikou or a Water-type like Swampert to counter his Lugia.

I've had solid results using Conkeldurr for his Persian, Mamoswine if he pulls out a Dragonite, and then a solid Electric-type like Electivire to zap his Lugia into oblivion.

Honestly, just bring a Machamp, a Kyogre, and a Raikou, and you're good to go!

Fighting-type for Persian, Water-type for Rhyperior, and Electric-type for Lugia. Easy peasy!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
