Honestly, it's all about the details. Real Pokemon cards have specific textures, holographic patterns, and even the cardstock feels a certain way. You can try to mimic it, but without the exact materials and printing techniques, fakes usually stand out. Plus, serious collectors and players can spot differences pretty easily, especially when it comes to high-value cards.

I've seen fakes, and honestly, they're laughably bad. The official cards have a level of detail and quality control that bootlegs can't touch. It's like trying to print your own money; sure, you can do it, but it won't feel, look, or spend the same.

Just buy real ones. Fakes are bad karma.

Counterfeits can never match the quality of real cards. The colors, the feel, and the weight of authentic cards are hard to replicate. Also, there's a sense of pride in having an authentic collection. Why settle for fake when you can have the real deal?

Creating realistic fake Pokemon cards is harder than it seems. The official ones have unique holographic patterns and cardstock that's difficult to duplicate accurately. Plus, there's always a risk of legal issues if you're caught making or selling fake merchandise. It's just not worth it.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
