Hot Wheels cars are typically made in a 1:64 scale. So, if you've ever wondered why they seem like the perfect size to whoosh around your living room, it's because they're mini replicas of the real deal. Just enough to fit in the palm of your hand and zoom across the floor!

1:64 scale. That's it. That's the size.

Mostly they're 1:64 scale. It's like the universal standard for Hot Wheels. There are exceptions with their other stuff like Monster Trucks, but the classic cars? Yep, 1:64.

I remember my first Hot Wheels car; it was a 1:64 scale model of a classic Corvette. Fits right in your hand. Pretty much all Hot Wheels cars follow that size, but they've got bigger things like Monster Trucks which obviously won't fit in your palm!
