Here's a hot take, but honestly, #4 screws might give you a bit more grip, especially if you're heavy-handed with your mods. Just be careful not to split the base!

For custom Hot Wheels projects, you're gonna wanna go with #2 x 3/8" screws. Perfect size for reassembling those little speed demons without cracking the case. Just make sure you're using a drill bit that's slightly smaller than the screw for a snug fit.

Trust me, #2 x 3/8" is the way to go. I've customized dozens of these bad boys for my collection, and that size has never let me down. It's like they were made for Hot Wheels.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
