Honestly, it depends on what vehicle you're using and your play style! For tanks, I usually stick to 500-800 meters for better accuracy.

Just my 2 cents: 200-400 meters is ideal for close-quarters tank combat when you need to ensure a kill. Just watch out for return fire!

For air battles, I find that shooting at around 400-600 meters works best to ensure you hit your target without getting too close and risking a collision.
