Oxygen and carbon dioxide, hands down. Plants and animals keep passing them back and forth like a never-ending game of catch.

CO2 and O2 are like the dynamic duo in photosynthesis and respiration. Plants take in CO2 during photosynthesis and release O2, and you're out there breathing in that oxygen and breathing out CO2. It's the ultimate recycling program!

Water and carbon dioxide get recycled big time! Plants use CO2 and water during photosynthesis to make sugars and oxygen, then animals (including us) use those sugars and oxygen in respiration, creating CO2 and water again. It's a perfect loop!

It's all about the carbon dioxide and oxygen. Plants inhale your exhaled CO2, and you inhale their exhaled O2. Simple as that!
