Just keep an eye on Fortnite's official status page or their Twitter account. They usually announce when maintenance is done and servers are back up.

Epic Games typically takes the servers down around 4 AM EST for maintenance. They usually come back up within a few hours, but it can vary. Check their Twitter for the most up-to-date info!

Honestly, it鈥檚 a guessing game. I鈥檝e seen it take anywhere from an hour to several hours, so patience is key!

I鈥檝e found that Epic Games usually updates around 4-5 AM EST, and servers are back up by 8 AM EST. But sometimes it feels like Christmas morning waiting for it!

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
