Epic Games usually takes the servers down for maintenance in the early hours, around 2-4 AM ET, and they’re normally back up within a few hours. But don’t worry, Epic usually tweets updates if there's any delay!

Typically, the servers are back up within 2 to 4 hours after they go down for maintenance. Keep an eye on Fortnite's official Twitter for updates.

Whenever they say 'soon,' just remember you're on Epic Time. It might take a couple of hours, so hold tight!

Epic Games is pretty good at communicating on Twitter when the servers will be back up, usually within a few hours.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
