I'm pretty sure the update's dropping at 5 AM EST. Got a buddy who's always on the ball with these things, and he's never been wrong. So, I'd take that to the bank if I were you.
The GTA 5 updates usually drop early morning, around 4-5 AM EST. This way, by the time most of us wake up, the new content is ready to roll. Just make sure your platform of choice is set to auto-update, so you don't miss a second of the action.
Historically, Rockstar tends to release GTA 5 updates between 4 AM and 6 AM EST. So, if you're really eager, you might wanna set an alarm... or two.
