The value of a Pokemon card depends on several factors like its rarity, condition, and demand. For instance, a rare, first edition card in mint condition can be worth a lot. The market's current demand plays a big role too, especially for cards used in competitive play or those with unique artwork!

Hot take: It's all about the nostalgia. Sure, rarity and condition matter, but what really makes a Pokemon card valuable is how much someone else wants to relive their childhood.

From personal experience, I sold a bunch of my old Pokemon cards and found that the ones from the original sets, like Base Set, fetched the highest prices, especially the holographic ones. Always check the market before selling!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
