First off, don't panic! It's usually something fixable. Start by checking if your game is up to date. Sometimes, missing an update can cause issues. Also, verify the game files through whatever platform you're using (Steam, Epic Games, etc.). If files got corrupted, this should fix it. Try running the game as an administrator too – this can sometimes bypass permission issues. Lastly, if all else fails, reinstalling the game could do the trick. Remember to back up your saves!

Check your PC specs against the game requirements. I've seen loads of people forget this basic step and wonder why the game won't start. GTA 5 is a beast; make sure your PC can handle it.

Just reboot your PC, honestly. 9 times out of 10, it’s a temporary glitch that goes away after a good reboot. Works for me!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
