Reboot your PS3 and check for any software updates. Sometimes a simple restart or having the latest firmware can solve the issue.

First off, try cleaning the disc with a soft, lint-free cloth. Sometimes it's just dust or grime causing the issue. If that doesn't work, give the lens a gentle clean using a lens cleaning kit. Worked wonders for me!

It might be the disc drive itself. If it's making weird noises or just not spinning the disc, it could be a hardware issue. You might wanna contact Sony support or a professional repair shop.

Hot take: Just go digital. Discs are so 2006 anyway.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
