Keep your resources guarded and your dwellers ready. Raiders are just a bump in the road. Also, placing dwellers with high Perception in your vault entrance can help spot threats earlier!
Just send your strongest dwellers to deal with 'em. Raiders are more of a nuisance than a real threat if you're prepared.
Honestly, raiders aren't even that bad. Focus on radroaches and fires, those are the real issues in your shelter.
