When you're cracking open those shiny Pokemon card packs, keep your eyes peeled for a few key things. First, rarity symbols! They're usually at the bottom right of the card - a circle means common, a diamond for uncommon, and stars for rare cards. The more stars, the rarer (and sometimes more powerful) the card. Also, lookout for holographic cards; those sparkles mean it's extra special. And don't miss any cards with unique art or secret rares, sometimes they're more valuable or just cool to have in your collection!

Holographic cards, full stop. If it shines, it's usually worth more. Keep it safe.

Honestly, just enjoy the art and the nostalgia. Not everything has to be about value or rarity. Sometimes, the best finds are the cards that make you smile.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
