What type of paint should you use for Hot Wheels cars?

For Hot Wheels, you wanna grab acrylic paints. They're perfect because they stick well to the surface and you can thin them out for layers without losing the vivid colors. Plus, they're easy to clean up if you make a mess. Just make sure you give the car a good wash before you start painting to get rid of any oils that might mess with the paint job.

Use enamel paint if you want that super glossy finish on your Hot Wheels. It takes longer to dry than acrylic, but the end result looks amazing on those little cars. Just be ready for a bit longer drying times between coats.

Honestly, just stick with acrylics. Easier to work with and they dry faster. Who has the time to wait for enamel to dry anyway?
