All somatic (body) cells undergo mitosis to grow and repair tissues. However, gametes (sperm and egg cells) don't use mitosis; they use meiosis!

Basically any cell that's not a germ cell (sperm or egg) will undergo mitosis. So think skin cells, muscle cells, and even your cheek cells!

I can tell you from experience, if you have a scrape on your knee, it's the skin cells undergoing mitosis that get you back to smooth sailing!
