GTA 5, officially known as Grand Theft Auto V, had a whopping budget of around $265 million! This massive budget covered both development and marketing costs, making it one of the most expensive video games ever made at its release. Rockstar definitely didn't hold back on spending to create this masterpiece.

Around $265M! They really went all out, making it one of the priciest games but totally worth every penny. The level of detail in GTA 5's world is unmatched, thanks to this hefty investment.

I remember reading it was something like $265 million. Honestly, with how massive and detailed GTA 5 is, I'm not even surprised they spent that much. It's like an entire world in there!
