The honor of being the first-ever Hot Wheels car goes to the Custom Camaro, which made its flashy debut in 1968. This little beauty was part of the original 'Sweet 16' lineup that kickstarted the whole Hot Wheels craze. It's pretty cool to think how that one car shifted gears into what's now a massive collectible empire!

Custom Camaro, 1968. It was the start of it all!

Totally disagree with the fuss about the Custom Camaro. Sure, it was the first, but there are way cooler Hot Wheels cars out there. It's all about the rare finds and limited editions now.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
