What will happen to GTA Online after GTA 6 comes out?
After GTA 6 comes out, GTA Online will probably just keep running as normal. Rockstar knows how to milk a cash cow when they see one. They won't let go of GTA Online that easily.

Considering Rockstar's track record, GTA Online for GTA 5 might see a slowdown in major updates once GTA 6 rolls out, but I doubt they'll shut it down anytime soon. They've built too big of a community to just turn off the lights. Plus, they might integrate some features from the new game to keep things fresh!
GTA Online is gonna disappear faster than my desire to work on Mondays. Once GTA 6 hits, who's gonna stick around in the old world? New game, new online, that's the rule.
Expect GTA Online to evolve, not vanish. Rockstar might even merge some aspects of the new game's world into it. Remember, they've invested a lot in making GTA Online a massive success. They won't just abandon it.
