Pokemon cards burst onto the scene in 1996, revolutionizing not just playgrounds but how many of us would forever view collectibles. They started in Japan and rapidly spread worldwide, becoming a staple of 90s nostalgia and beyond.

1996! That's when the world got a whole lot cooler with the introduction of Pokemon cards. Trust me, nothing shouts '90s kids' louder than a shiny Charizard!

1996, and life has never been the same since. If you didn't spend your childhood trading these, did you even have one?

Gotta disagree with the nostalgia trip here... 1996 is correct, but let's not pretend every moment of it was magical. Sorting through endless duplicates for that one rare card was a pain.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
