A promo Pokemon card is a special card that's not typically found in regular booster packs. They’re often given out at events, through promotions, or included in special products. They usually have a 'Promo' label or stamp on them, making them easy to identify. Collectors love these because they can be quite rare and unique!

Promo cards are just freebies - cool to have but not always powerful in the game. Got a Pikachu promo once at a movie showing. Super cool but sits in my binder more than my deck.

They're basically the Pokemon TCG's way of saying 'thanks for participating' or 'thanks for buying our stuff.' Promo cards can sometimes gain value over time, especially the rare ones or those linked to special events!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
