A Steam card, basically, is like a gift card for PC gamers. You can use it to add credit to your Steam Wallet or give it as a gift to your gamer friends. With it, you can buy games, downloadable content (DLC), and other goodies on Steam. Think of it as cash, but for Steam only!

Just for buying games? Nah, it's more than that. Use Steam cards to grab in-game items, software, hardware (like the Steam Deck), and even soundtracks. It's a whole ecosystem!

They're kinda pointless IMO. Just use a credit card directly on Steam. Much simpler.
