I've used both, and functionally they're nearly identical. The PS4 ones just come with some minor improvements and are more readily available.

Hot take: The biggest difference is probably the price tag! They perform almost the same.

The PS4 Move controllers are essentially the same as the PS3 ones, but with a few updates. They have micro-USB charging instead of mini-USB, and larger batteries for longer playtime!
