The main difference: the PS5 Digital Edition doesn’t have a disc drive! You can only play digital downloads on it.

It's simple—PS5 has a disc drive; PS5 Digital Edition does not. So no physical games or Blu-rays on the Digital Edition.

With the PS5 Digital Edition, you'll save some money upfront, but you'll also miss out on physical discs and possibly some deals on used games.
