What's the Difference Between PS5 Digital and PS5 Console?
As an owner of both, I can say the digital edition's sleek design is nice, but I miss the flexibility of playing my old discs on the standard version!

The digital is cheaper but lacks a disc drive. Simple as that.
The main difference is that the PS5 Digital Edition doesn't have a disc drive, so you can only play digital games on it. The standard PS5 console, however, has a Blu-ray disc drive, allowing you to play physical games and Blu-ray movies.
If you love collecting physical game discs, go for the standard PS5. The digital edition is for those who prefer downloading their games.
One costs less, but locks you into buying all your games online. The other lets you enjoy bargain bin finds and Blu-ray movies.
