In Hogwarts Legacy, the terms 'wizard' and 'witch' are more about tradition than gameplay mechanics. A 'wizard' is generally used for male characters, and a 'witch' refers to female characters. That's pretty much where the difference ends. Gameplay-wise, everyone gets to cast spells, brew potions, and explore the magical world without any limitations based on gender.

No difference gameplay-wise. Just titles. Want to be a witch with the fiercest dueling skills? Go for it. Prefer the wizard route with a knack for potion brewing? You're all set. Hogwarts Legacy lets you be you, with no gameplay changes based on the title.

Hot take: Witch or wizard, it's just a title. The real magic in Hogwarts Legacy is deciding how your character grows, learns spells, and interacts with the world. It's all about personal choice.
