Honestly, the original Dragon Ball is the best place to start. That's where Goku's journey begins, and it's full of humor and adventure.

If you want to jump straight into the action with Super Saiyan transformations, you might wanna begin with Dragon Ball Z, which starts in 1989. You can always go back to the original later!

I started with Dragon Ball Z and had no issues understanding the storyline, but when I went back to watch Dragon Ball, it added so much more depth to the characters. Highly recommend starting from the beginning!

Hot take: Start with Dragon Ball Z. If you like the action, go back to DB for the backstory!
