Pikachu Illustrator is overhyped. The real treasures are the Trophy Cards from the early TCG tournaments. Good luck finding one, though.

Honestly, the rarest? Gotta be the Pikachu Illustrator. There's like, what, less than 40 in existence? If you find another card that's harder to find than that, I'll eat my hat.

As of 2022, the crown for the rarest Pokemon card often goes to the Pikachu Illustrator card. Only a handful of these were given out to winners of a CoroCoro Comic art contest back in the '90s, making them super rare and highly sought after by collectors worldwide. So, if you've got one, you're sitting on a goldmine!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
