Tokyo Ghoul:re is the third season, but it picks up after a time skip and follows Kaneki鈥檚 new identity, Haise Sasaki. It's kind of a fresh start with some familiar faces. Definitely worth watching if you liked the first two seasons!
Honestly, Season 3 felt like a different show. The time skip and new characters threw me off. Not my fave.
Tokyo Ghoul:re (Season 3) brings in a lot of new plot points and character development. Give it a chance; it grows on you!
